Coach Credentials, Training, Quality control, supervision and Continuous Professional DevelopmentCredentials and certified training process CEONCR coaches come from successful careers that included one or more appointments as Chairman, CEO or MD of minimum £30m turnover. Many have run more than £500m turnover PLCs and/or have multiple non executive chair/directorship portfolios. (See Associate Group Coach list) Other have been highly successful CEOs or MDs or senior directors with specialised functional skills including Private Equity, Corporate Finance, HR, IT, H&S, Sales & Marketing, International Operations, M&S; others are senior directors from entrepreneurial SMEs Each director has to embark on an intensive study programme structured to take them to award of a Post Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching and use of the designatory letters PGCert Exec Coach which is a Masters level award independently supervised and certified by Chester University. The study programme includes:
Note During the initial training phase, each coach will have practiced the CEONCR process with at least 30 Chairmen, CEOs and senior directors. Over the 4 years evolution of the programme many have developed substantial executive coaching experience and long term client relationships. Continued study In parallel with directors who have entered the programme during 2005 and are progressing to their initial Post Graduate award, earlier delegates have obtained the basic award and moved on to Diploma or Masters (MA) study. There is encouragement for delegates to continue to Doctorate (Phd) Recommended additional CPD programmes include The School of Coaching (Downey), Time to Think (Kline), Performance Consultants (Whitmore), and advanced NLP/Linguistics (Charvet) Quality control, Supervision and Sponsor reporting Uniform standards of process and procedure are required of all CEONCR coaches who are specifically trained in ethical high quality multiple relationship management between coach, client, sponsor and supervisor. Principals of CEONCR maintain a close dialogue with Sponsors considering all aspects of each coaching relationship as to quality, value, agreed objectives and outcomes. Progress reporting to Sponsor companies is an integral part of the process, subordinate to the highest confidentiality between coach and client. Regular Supervisory sessions and quality monitoring of all coaching is an essential requirement. This is under the leadership of Kim Morgan Principal of Barefoot Coaching.
